Terms of Service

Welcome to troimarket. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the platform.

1. Account Registration

To use certain features of troimarket, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

All account owners must be at least 18 years of age. Minors who are at least 13 may use troimarket only with the permission and direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for all activity on the account. Children under 13 may not use troimarket. You may register using an email address and password or through Google Sign-In; either way, by creating an account you confirm you meet these requirements.

2. The Marketplace

troimarket is a platform where users can buy and sell recipes. We facilitate transactions between buyers and sellers but are not a party to the transaction itself.

• Sellers can publish recipes (individually or as bundles) at prices they set, with a minimum of $1.00 for paid content. Free recipes are also permitted.
• Buyers can browse, discover, and purchase recipes. A purchased recipe remains accessible to the buyer for as long as troimarket operates — except where the payment is refunded, disputed, or reversed (see Section 4).
• Recipes are immutable once published. Sellers cannot edit a published recipe but may take it down from sale.
• Prices cannot be changed after publishing.

3. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you create and publish on troimarket, including recipes, images, and descriptions. By publishing content, you grant troimarket a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content on the platform.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the right to publish all content you submit
• Your content does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Your content does not contain false, misleading, or harmful information
• Any images you upload are yours or you have permission to use them

If you believe content on troimarket infringes your copyright, contact us at legal@troimarket.com with details of your work and the allegedly infringing content. We review such reports promptly and may remove content and, for repeat infringers, terminate accounts.

4. Purchases and Payments

All payments are processed through Whop, our payment partner. troimarket never receives or stores your payment card details. By making a purchase, you agree to Whop's terms of service in addition to these Terms.

• Platform fee: troimarket charges sellers a 2.3% platform fee on each sale, deducted automatically at the time of payment. Whop's payment processing fees also apply under Whop's terms.
• Refunds: Refunds may be issued at the seller's discretion or through Whop's dispute and resolution process, and applicable law may entitle you to a refund in certain cases. When a payment is refunded, disputed, or charged back, the buyer's access to the purchased content is revoked.
• Except as described above, purchased recipes remain accessible even if the seller takes them down or deletes their account.
• Payouts: Sellers receive payouts through Whop according to Whop's payout schedule and terms. Receiving payouts requires completing Whop's identity verification, which is available only to adults (18+). Earnings from sales are held until verification and payout setup are complete.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Redistribute, resell, or share purchased recipe content outside the platform
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that is offensive, harmful, or violates any laws
• Attempt to interfere with the platform's operation or security
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the platform
• Impersonate another person or entity

6. Storefront and Profile

Sellers may set up a storefront with a unique name, bio, and social links. Storefront names must be unique across the platform. We reserve the right to require changes to storefront names that are misleading, offensive, or infringe on trademarks.

7. Taking Down Content

Sellers may take down their recipes or bundles at any time. Taken-down content:

• Will no longer appear in search or discovery
• Remains accessible to buyers who previously purchased it
• Can be restored by the seller at any time

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through Settings. When you delete your account:

• Your profile and storefront will be removed
• Your published recipes will show "from deleted user" to buyers who purchased them
• Buyers retain access to recipes they purchased from you
• This action is permanent and cannot be undone

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

troimarket is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not verify the accuracy, quality, or safety of recipes published by sellers.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, troimarket shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
